Chadd Holmes is one of only three Ludington High School basketball players to earn first-team all-state honors twice. He did it in 1994 when he averaged 18.9 points a game and again in 1995 when he averaged 22.4 points per game for the 22-4 Orioles. He holds school records in the 400-meter dash and was a member of Mason County Central's state-championship 3,200 meter relay team along with Jake Hernandez, Dan Deller and Jake Lauber.
