Christy Christmas, of Ludington, graduated in 1979 from Mason County Central. Christmas coached softball at Mason County Central where the team accumulated 302 wins during her tenure. Bob Cameron, of Scottville, graduated in 1979 from Mason County Central. His senior year he was undefeated at 167 pounds and went on to claim the state championship in wrestling as he assisted his team in claiming the state runner-up title that year. 2007 MCC Volleyball Mason County Central’s volleyball team concluded their 2007 season as MHSAA Class B state runners-up with a 52-9-3 record. Jeff Henry Jeff Henry is a 1977 graduate of Mason County Central, and he is Mason County's first ever state champion in the sport of wrestling. Henry won the title at 138 pounds with an undefeated record of 32-0 during his senior year. Duane Ingraham Sr. coached Mason County Central's boys basketball team to the Class C state tournament in 1966. Ingraham had two coaching stints with the Spartans, in the 1960s and in the 1980s, and he guided the teams to four district championships, a regional title and four West Michigan Conference titles. Leanna (Wolf) Geers shined brightly on the track and the cross country courses for Mason County Central and Ferris State University.
