Jessica Gerbers, daughter of Robert and Cynthia Gerbers, is the Life Lesson Award honoree from Mason County Central and selected C.O.V.E. as the recipient of the donation given by the MCSHOF in her honor. Christy Christmas, of Ludington, graduated in 1979 from Mason County Central. Christmas coached softball at Mason County Central where the team accumulated 302 wins during her tenure. She had seven West Michigan Conference titles, six district titles, three regional titles, and twice took her team to the state semi-finals, each time losing by one run to the eventual state champion. Lee Schoenherr went from having an impact on various athletic fields to helping to provide so many opportunities for those in and around Mason County.
