Joel Trim - MCSHOF Inductee - 2023

Joel Trim graduated in 1997 from Ludington High School as a four-time MHSAA state tournament qualifier in wrestling. Trim was a four-time conference and district champion, a three-time regional champion, the MHSAA wrestling state runner-up in 1996, and state champion in the 160-pound class in 1997. Trim was voted MHSAA D-2 Tournament Most Outstanding Wrestler in 1997. He achieved a 177-14 career win-loss record from 1994-1997, with 126 career pins. He set a Ludington High School record with 51 consecutive wins his senior season. His win-loss record by year: 41-8, 1994; 44-5, 1995; 41-1, 1996; 51-0, 1997. Central Michigan University was Trim’s college of choice, where he competed in wrestling. He serves as a manager in business and has been the Hartland Assistant Wrestling coach for 15 years and a Hartland Youth Wrestling coach for 10 years.
