Noah Dobrzelewski - High School Athlete Honorees - 2015
Noah Dobrzelewski brought leadership to the field and the pool in his years at Ludington High School as he competed in football, swimming and diving and track and field.
Dobrzelewski swam for four seasons for Ludington, earning the Coaches' Award in his ninth grade year and following that with Most Valuable Swimmer honors his sophomore through senior years. Dobrzelewski also earned honorable mention all-Coastal Conference honors in the 100-yard butterfly his senior year.
In football, he was named to the Muskegon All-Star Classic after a sterling high school footballl career. He anchored Ludington's offensive and defensive lines, earning second team all-Lakes 8 Activities Conference honors in his sophomore year. In both his junior and senior years, he was a first team selection and he was a captain his senior year.
He competed well in the one track and field season he participated in this spring, reaching the West Michigan All-Star Invitational. And, he was an honorable mention in the shot put.
Dobrezlewski earned a 4.107 grade point average and was an Alpha graduate at Ludington. He won the Academic Gold Award each year, was a participant in the West Shore Community College Chemistry Competition, the High School PILOT and was Academic All-State. He also was a member of the National Honor Society. In the community, he's been involved with the West Michigan Old Engine Club and the Scottville United Methodist Church Community Table.
He is the son of Pete and Zarin Dobrzelewski and plans to attend Michigan Tech University in the fall.
