Reese Willis – Leadership & Respect

Reese Margaret Willis, the daughter of Mark and Jeanne Willis, has been selected as the Life Lesson Award recipient for Ludington High School for demonstrating leadership and respect. Reese is an Alpha Graduate, having obtained a 3.846 grade point average while participating in a rigorous course load including Advanced Placement courses in World History, Language and Composition, and Computer Science Principles. As an athlete, Reese participated in swimming, basketball and soccer. As a student-athlete, Reese earned all-conference honors in the pool, in the 200 meter medley relay, the 50 and the 100 freestyle races during her senior campaign. She also played a pivotal role in capturing the West Michigan Conference – Lakes Division crown in soccer during her senior year. Reese demonstrated leadership through her service in the following roles: Vice-President of the Ludington High School Class of 2025, Officer for the Anna Miller Chapter of the National Honor Society and her participation on the Mason County Youth Advisory Council. Reese served on the LHS Homecoming Royalty and was named as the Ludington High School All-Around Senior in 2025. Reese was recognized by the coaching staff at Ludington High School for her leadership in athletics, academics and community service, as well as for the respect she shows in the pool, on the field, and in the community. Reese plans to attend the University of Kentucky, studying marketing with a minor in business analytics. Reese chose the Teen Resource Center at Ludington High School as the charity to receive the donation given in her honor by the Mason County Sports Hall of Fame.
