Eli Shoup - Life Lesson Awards Honorees - 2022

Eli Shoup, son of Robert and Amanda Shoup, is the Life Lesson Award honoree from Mason County Eastern and selected St. Mary's Caritas Food Pantry as the recipient of the donation given by the MCSHOF in his honor. Eli played basketball, baseball, ran cross country, as well as track & field and maintained a GPA of 4.0 while earning 15 varsity letters. Eli was dual enrolled at West Shore Community College, earning 29 college credits and becoming a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Eli was his class co-valedictorian and received the MCE Outstanding Student Subject Awards in English, Math, and Science. Eli is MCE's 2022 Male Athlete and won the Giammalva Christian Athlete Award. He has been involved in 4H his entire life and plans to attend Trine University to become an Engineer or a Pilot and will run track and cross-country at Trine. Eli was chosen as a MHSAA Scholar Athlete in 2022 and earned over $100,000 in college scholarships. TEAMWORK is Eli's strength and helping others be the best they can be is his passion.
