Elena Luce - High School Athlete Honorees - 2013

Elena Luce of Mason County Eastern earned 17 total letters for participating in cross country, volleyball, basketball, softball and soccer. She earned all-Western Michigan D League recognition in each of those sports, with basketball being her strongest sport. She was a three-time Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan Academic All-State selection and a two-time BCAM All-State choice. She won one of the MHSAA Scholar-Athlete awards and was the female state winner of the Wendy's High School Heisman Award. She's involved in several clubs including National Honor Society and the Youth Advisory Council, was her class president and has volunteered as a religious education teacher at St. Mary's Catholic Church, and as a youth soccer and basketball official.
