Cullen Kraus-McCarty's autism does not limit him in any shape or form. Cullen is a seven year cross country  runner, having raced since the sixth grade and is a six year track athlete. Cullen has won numerous racing medals over those years and earned academic all-conference honors throughout high school. In Cullen's sophomore year of cross country, he faced one the biggest challenge as his father passed away. Rallying behind the support of his family, friends and teammates, Cullen learned to race with perseverance and heart, finishing his sophomore season with his fastest race in his career, running a time of 18 minutes 38 seconds at the MHSAA Regional meet. Along with participation in athletics, Cullen was one of the top members of the MCC Quiz Bowl team. He loves listening to music and hanging out with his friends. COVE (Communities Overcoming Violent Encounters) is Cullen's charity of choice to receive the charitable donation given in Cullen's name.
