Dan Aultman - MCSHOF Inductee - 2023
Dan Aultman graduated from Mason County Central High School in 2000. In basketball, he was a two-time All-West Michigan Conference athlete; selected Muskegon Chronicle all-area; and was all-state, second team in 2000. Aultman was a two-year starter at Muskegon Community College, and in 2001-02, was team captain, MVP, and best free throw shooter. A two-time MCCAA All-Academic Team selection, in 2002 Aultman was selected to the MCCAA Western Conference First Team and selected as an All-Star. Aultman was NJCAA All-Region XII in 2002. He was the recipient of the John G. Thompson Student Athlete of the Year. Aultman finished his college basketball career at Calvin University, scoring over 1,000 points in just two seasons. Aultman was MIAA All-Conference, NABC All-District twice and was MVP All-Sectionals in the NCAA D-III Tournament in 2005. Calvin won the MIAA Tournament Champion in 2004 and 2005 and earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament both years, placing third in the D-III Tournament in 2005. Aultman was team captain and D-III All-American Honorable Mention in 2005. After college, Aultman played basketball professionally in Norway and France from 2006-2018. In 2009, his team won the Champions of France National 2 Title and the Champions of France Runner-up in the France National 2 title in 2011.
